Qat Link Privacy Policy

1. Summary

Qat Link is an iOS VPN client and related digital service provided by Qat Bilişim ve Yazılım Teknolojileri Ltd. Şti. The app helps users import approved VPN configurations and connect through infrastructure prepared for Qat Link or white-label partner services.

The app does not collect or inspect browsing activity, DNS queries, or the contents of VPN traffic. To operate the service, we process only limited technical information needed for app access, connection stability, subscription or entitlement validation, support, abuse prevention, and legal compliance.

We do not require your name, phone number, or email to use the Qat Link iOS app unless you voluntarily contact support or your partner service separately requires account details. The app may display advertising through Google AdMob and Google Mobile Ads. We do not use VPN traffic, browsing history, DNS queries, or traffic content for advertising, profiling, or user tracking, and we do not sell user data to advertising networks.

2. What our No-Logs policy means

We do not log or store:

• history of visited websites and URLs;
• search queries;
• DNS queries;
• traffic content, including messages, emails, files, and other transmitted data;
• history of your network activity;
• your source IP address as part of an activity history.

We do not link your network activity to your account, device, partner, configuration, or payment data for profiling. Some technical data may be processed temporarily by network equipment while a VPN connection is established or maintained. This is necessary to carry encrypted traffic and run the service; it is not used to build browsing history or analyze traffic content.

3. Data we collect in the app

Identifiers and eligibility:

• a randomly generated anonymous device identifier to authorize the device and enforce access limits;
• a randomly generated anonymous client identifier to manage the client session;
• app version, device type, operating system version, and app store region when needed for compatibility, availability, or store rules;
• confirmation that you meet the minimum age requirement where the app asks for it.

Service operation and diagnostics:

• subscription, license, configuration, or entitlement status;
• VPN configuration status and connection state;
• volume of data transferred when needed for plan limits or abuse prevention, without information about what you accessed;
• time of last connection and basic technical diagnostics related to connection stability and errors, without browsing history, DNS queries, or traffic content.

App Store purchases:

• If you purchase a subscription or in-app purchase through the Apple App Store, Apple processes the payment. We receive only limited technical data needed to validate subscription status, such as receipt or transaction data. We do not receive or store full payment card details.

Support:

• If you contact Qat Link support at link@qat.com.tr, we process the email address, message content, attachments, and other information you voluntarily provide. This is separate from VPN session logging.

Advertising:

• If ads are shown in the app, Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK may process information such as device and app information, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, ad interactions, diagnostics, and advertising identifiers where permitted.
• On Apple platforms, we do not access the Apple advertising identifier (IDFA) or track you across other companies' apps and websites for advertising unless you give permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt where required.
• If you do not give tracking permission, or where consent is not available, we may request or show non-personalized or contextual ads. VPN traffic, browsing history, DNS queries, and traffic content are not used to personalize ads.

4. Purposes of processing

We use the data described above only to:

• operate, maintain, and secure the Qat Link service;
• provide VPN access and approved configurations;
• validate subscriptions, licenses, entitlements, or partner access;
• apply regional availability, App Store, and legal requirements;
• improve connection reliability and troubleshoot technical issues;
• respond to support requests and service notices;
• show, measure, limit, and improve advertising in compliance with your consent choices and platform rules;
• prevent misuse, fraud, and security incidents.

5. Where data is processed

Qat Link infrastructure may use servers and service providers in Türkiye, the European Economic Area, Switzerland, the United States, and other locations where hosting, support, or VPN connectivity is required.

Encrypted VPN traffic may pass through VPN and load-balancing infrastructure selected for the configuration used by the app. We do not keep logs of websites you visit, DNS queries, or traffic contents.

Limited technical service data may be transferred between locations only as needed to operate the service, support users, validate access, maintain security, and comply with applicable requirements, using appropriate technical and organizational safeguards.

6. Third parties

We do not share VPN traffic, browsing activity, DNS queries, or traffic contents with third parties for analytics, advertising, profiling, or tracking.

Apple processes App Store downloads, updates, subscriptions, in-app purchases, refunds, and related billing information under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. We receive only the technical subscription validation data described above.

Google may act as an advertising technology provider when ads are displayed through Google AdMob or the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Google may collect and process advertising-related information under Google's own policies, including for ad delivery, frequency capping, fraud prevention, measurement, and, where permitted by your consent and platform settings, ad personalization.

Infrastructure and support providers may host servers, networks, email, or support systems. We do not provide them with user activity logs, browsing history, DNS queries, or traffic content. They may technically participate in carrying encrypted traffic as required for a VPN to function.

7. Advertising and app tracking

Ads in Qat Link may be provided by Google AdMob and Google Mobile Ads. Ads may be personalized only where allowed by law, Google policies, Apple rules, and your consent choices. In regions where consent is required, including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we will request legally required consent for local storage and for the collection, sharing, and use of personal data for ads personalization.

On iOS and other Apple platforms, if advertising activity qualifies as tracking under Apple's App Tracking Transparency rules, Qat Link will ask for permission using Apple's system prompt before tracking. If you ask the app not to track, we will not use the IDFA for tracking and will use non-personalized, contextual, or limited ads where available.

We do not use VPN traffic, browsing activity, DNS queries, traffic content, or VPN connection destinations to personalize ads. Platform crash or diagnostic reports may be processed by Apple under Apple platform rules and your device settings; such reports are not used by us to analyze VPN browsing activity or traffic content.

8. Website, cookies, and analytics

The website link.qat.com.tr may use strictly necessary technologies for site delivery and basic operation. If advertising, analytics, or optional cookies are added to the website, they will be handled separately from VPN sessions and will not be used to analyze VPN traffic, DNS queries, or browsing history inside the app.

Google AdMob and Google Mobile Ads may use cookies, local storage, device identifiers, IP addresses, or similar technologies on websites or in apps to serve and measure ads, prevent fraud, cap ad frequency, and, where permitted, personalize ads. If a cookie or ads consent banner is shown, you may accept or reject non-essential cookies or personalized ads where available.

9. Retention and deletion

Technical data is kept while your subscription, license, configuration, or service access is active and as needed to operate the service. If you do not renew or stop using the service, account or access data may be deleted or anonymized after a period of inactivity.

You may request deletion of data associated with Qat Link by contacting link@qat.com.tr. If the app includes an account deletion control, you may also use that control. After deletion, we stop providing access and delete or anonymize data that is no longer required.

Some records may be retained for a limited time where required by law, billing verification, fraud prevention, security, accounting, or dispute resolution.

10. Government and authority requests

Qat Bilişim ve Yazılım Teknolojileri Ltd. Şti. is registered in Türkiye. If we receive a lawful request from a competent authority, we assess it under applicable law.

Because we do not keep activity logs, we cannot provide browsing history, DNS queries, or traffic content. We may only be able to confirm limited information such as account existence, subscription or entitlement status, support correspondence, or the technical data described in this Policy.

11. Age requirement

The service is not directed to individuals under 18 unless a different minimum age is expressly allowed by the applicable app store rules and local law. Where the app asks for age confirmation, it is used to enforce this requirement.

12. Security

We apply technical and organizational measures including access controls, encryption in transit, data minimization, operational monitoring, and restricted access to support and service systems. No internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we design Qat Link to limit the data we process and protect the data needed to run the service.

13. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection regarding personal data associated with you. You may also contact us about privacy or request deletion of data linked to the Qat Link app.

14. Platforms and app stores

Qat Link is distributed through Apple platforms, including the Apple App Store where available.

• Downloads and updates are provided through Apple;
• payment, renewal, cancellation, and refunds for App Store purchases are governed by Apple’s rules;
• Apple may process Apple ID, payment, device, and diagnostic information under Apple’s privacy policy.

We receive from Apple only limited technical data needed to verify a purchase, subscription, or entitlement and provide access, such as transaction identifiers, receipt data, or status information. Your use of Apple services is governed by Apple’s own terms and privacy policy.

15. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy when the service, infrastructure, app features, partner model, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will be updated when we publish a new version.
